In the hydrogeological interventions, the Department relies on the collaboration of professionals in the environmental field, agronomist and forestry experts and geologists.
Synergy between various professionals associated with site inspections used for having a complete knowledge on the area of intervention, allows to identify typical problems of the topic, especially those related to the evaluation of hydrogeological risk.
Interventions definition is mainly carried out on cartographic bases deduced from aerial views and also with detailed surveys where orographic characteristics allow it.
Between interventions made in recent years, have to be listed those related:
– to the entire water catchment of the Prebech stream in the municipality of Chianocco, carried out on behalf of the Mountain Community of Bassa Val di Susa and the Municipal Administration itself;
– to the Gorge of Usseaux (chasm) for safety measures in the town of Fenestrelle, carried out on behalf of the Mountain Community of Chisone and Germanasca.
It is also important to mention mountain’s remediation interventions, for a total of about 50 sites in the municipalities of Bagnasco, Priola and Garessio carried out on behalf of the Mountain Community of Alta Val Tanaro, Mongia and Cevetta.
