The application procedure is now online for the Apprenticeship PhD Fellowship “Digital Twins and Adaptive Design for Building LCA”, developed in collaboration between the Department of Architecture and Design of the Politecnico di Torino and Ai Engineering, within the framework of the “DAD PhD and Business Study Centre” presented last February 26th. The proposed research focuses on the development of an integrated model combining Digital Twins, adaptive design and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to evaluate and mitigate CO2 emissions throughout the entire building lifecycle. The aim is to connect BIM-based tools with predictive environmental modelling, enabling design process support from the early stages through to construction. To be eligible for the Apprenticeship PhD Fellowship, candidates must be under 30 years of age at the time of hiring under an apprenticeship contract.
